Someone needs to direct more money to the busiest DOL offices, specifically the one in Bellevue. After over 2 hours waiting for a simple renewal on a Wed. morning, finally got helped. A huge room full of frustrated people and not nearly enough parking outside. Early on, only 2 clerks working at the 12 stations. They closed offices in nearby cities and seem to have downsized at the one remaining office in our area. Those of us over 65 HAVE to renew in person.

You simply are picking the office that will process and mail your tabs, not that you have to go in and pick them up from that office. It states it clearly on the website.

This sight stinks to hell and back. A few years ago one could be in and out in a few. Each year I return and get something new and I get something more complicated. Stop paying these program idiots and put your money into the general budget.

Dear DOL,

I attempted to renew my car license online as was suggested by the renewal form sent to me. I followed the steps but toward the end I was asked what DOL office I wanted the license tabs to come from. This was confusing since if they're mailed to me I don't really care where they are sent from. Then it occurred to me that selecting an office implied I was going to go there to pick them up. I was unable to find on the Website the option to simply mail the tabs to me. You can choose who does the sending. I tried calling the office in Island County but they weren't available. Would you please tell me how on the Web site to request mailed tabs. If there isn't a way to do this why would anyone use the online renewal since it would defeat the purpose of saving time. Thanks
