Licensing boards recruiting for public member vacancies

OLYMPIA—The Department of Licensing is recruiting for vacancies on the Geologist Licensing Board and the Landscape Architect Board.  The open positions are to be filled by members of the general public with no family or business connection with either the geology or landscape architecture industry.

Geologist Licensing Board public member vacancy

The Geologist Licensing Board provides consumer protection to the public through the licensing of geologists.  Geology Board members are appointed by the Director of the Department of Licensing. The board consists of five licensed geologists and one public member.  Board members serve 4-year terms.

Licensure Board for Landscape Architects public member vacancy

The Licensure Board for Landscape Architects examines candidates for licensure or registration, holds disciplinary hearings, and recommends adoption of rules and regulations.  The board consists of four landscape architects and one public member.  Board members serve 6-year terms.
