All offices are operating at reduced capacity due to COVID-19 protocols. Appointments can be scheduled up to 30 days in advance. They are available for people whose only option is to visit us in person. Make an appointment if your transaction cannot be done online, by phone, or by mail.

Our expanded online services are your first option. If web access is an issue, consider Wi-Fi hotspots. You may also be able to get what you need by calling our Customer Service Center (360-902-3900) or by visiting a vehicle licensing office.

  • Commercial driver license (CDL) and commercial learner permit (CLP), including knowledge test

Since briefly closing offices at the start of the pandemic, we’ve reopened 43 of our 45 full-time driver licensing locations statewide. We added capacity in recent months and hope to have remaining offices open this fall.
